Open Call for Mentors – November 2026
A mentor's core role is a selfless commitment to accelerate someone else's growth – not by giving all the answers, but by expanding a mentee's ability to be confident and effective in their decision-making.
At Electronics Mentoring, all of our mentors embrace these values.

Share your experience, judgement and lessons that cannot be picked up from a training course or technical manual.

Get insights from someone working in another role, organisation, discipline or area of the electronics ecosystem.

Receive amazing support and considered matching, guidance and check-ins from our team throughout your mentorship.

Support capable mid-career professionals who may feel stuck, overlooked or uncertain about their next move.

Form a trusted one-to-one connection while becoming part of a wider international mentoring community.

Strengthen your coaching and communication skills and present yourself with a new growth mindset challenge.
Mentors in our initiative are not necessarily professionally trained counsellors. Typically, our mentors will have over a decade of experience and already be in senior leadership roles, many at board level within their organisations although the number of years served in the industry is not the only proxy for mentoring ability.

Mentors are good listeners, sharing relevant experience and help mentees with decision-making. They are not expected to provide consultancy, employment or introductions.
This is a six-month commitment. Electronics Mentoring is one-to-one and career-led.
Mentors may come from technical, operational, commercial, product design, sustainability, leadership or other specialist backgrounds.
